The energy of the sword let me fly high into the sky. I could feel the breeze and the temperature of the upper atmosphere. Luckily for me, the sword's energy allowed me to breathe without a problem. I flew through the sky, until I was able to see where I needed to land below.
I used the sword to aim downwards, back to the ground. I was going so fast, I felt the air particles moving past my body at ridiculous speeds. I couldn't tell if I loved the feeling, or hated it. Fortunately, it didn't tire my eyes to the point of tearing up.
It barely took thirty seconds to reach the ground. I lifted the sword above my head to reduce my speed. Until I came to a full stop and my feet touched the ground. I landed onto the concrete sidewalk and looked up to see a familiar house in front of me.
Nearly instantly, I saw someone standing on the lawn with a hose. They appeared to be a female teenager looking straight at me. Her eyes widened in surprise, but her body froze completely. I couldn't tell if she was terrified or surprised to see me. Knowing my popularity recently, I wouldn't be surprised if she knew me.
The female teenager turned to me fully. She was frozen and silent as she stared at me. I decided to take a couple steps toward the house. My foot stepped onto the pathway up to the front door. That's when I recognized who she was, her name was Angie. She wore a light purple shirt, white on the belly of it, light blue jeans and white shoes. "W-wait. Floyd? Floyd Lorence? The AzLean Soldier?" Angie asks with slight nervousness.
I then hold up my sword to confirm her suspicion. As soon as her eyes laid onto the sword, Angie nervously walked over to me slowly. "Oh my goodness. . . I'm such a huge fan."
I slightly smile in delight from her. Then, my eyes turned to the door. Then, I returned my gaze to her. "Does the Teen Ten live here? I'm assuming you're their gardener."
I regretted saying that, because her expression faded to disappointment. "Um, we do live here. Also, I'm not a gardener. I just enjoy taking care of our house. You know, cleaning, watering the plants, that sort of stuff."
I instantly grew nervous and guilty from my words. "Oh! My apologies, it's my first time meeting you guys in person."
Angie brushes my words off, her mood shifting back to nervousness and slight excitement. "It's okay! Come on in." Angie gestures for me to follow her to the front door. I complied and followed her, relaxing my arms to my side. When we got to the door, she opened it for me. I walk inside before she follows from behind and closes the door.
As soon as I took a step inside. I noticed three teenagers sitting on the couch. One of them, who was the leader, was named Josh. Wore a brown jacket, blue shirt and jeans with black shoes. He turns his head with a wide smile. Getting up from the couch and coming over to me to shake my hand. I was slightly surprised by the sudden gesture. "Floyd! I'm so glad you came!"
Angie was speechless, but kept her smile. "I'm confused. . ." Surprised to see Floyd already ready to greet me.
"I felt your presence nearby, excuse me for my sudden introduction."
"No no, it's perfectly fine." That reminded me that Josh was a powerful telepath. Which is actually a good thing, it meant that he can help with the Robanians telepathic abilities.
I noticed two other teenagers on the couch. Their expressions appear to show absolute shock at the sight of me. One of them, being the youngest and shortest named Nick. The other was Drake, the leader of his own team in the Teen Ten. Nick was wearing shorts and a short sleeve shirt with typical colors.
Drake on the other hand, was wearing a black jacket, a black shirt with an unrecognizable rock band called SlipKnot. Also wearing black pants and shoes, which tells me he was likely in an emo phase. Nearly making me regret coming here.
Then, I turned my head and recognized Creg standing beside the doorway. He was somewhat buff and muscular. He wore a shirt with a football team on it. It appeared to be the Chargers, which I knew for certain Peter wouldn't agree with. Considering Peter was a football fan himself as well.
"I'm assuming you came here because you need to talk to us, am I right?" Josh asks with a grin, I can tell he was excited.
"I um. . . That's right." Josh nods, before pointing to a room off to the side. "Just go in there, I'll go get the others." He looks to Creg and gestures to him to show me in. Creg leads me into the room, while Angie follows us. I hear Josh yell out from the living room.
As I walked into the room, it had a computer desk in the corner. A large table in the center, a projector and a screen connected to the computer. Creg helps me over to a chair and then sits down himself. Angie would eventually join us when Josh comes into the room. Several other teenagers follow him in.
I recognized Suzan, Rob, and Christina. Suzan was gothic, with mostly dark clothing and eye shadows. She was in a jacket, hiding herself within it, as well as black pants and shoes. Rob didn't have a shirt on, but had classic shorts and white shoes. Then, Christina had mostly white clothing, with a few light blue touches around her clothing. She didn't wear shoes, but rather high heels.
They all take a seat at the table. Though, the last two teenagers join in. However, a portal opens up and reveals two somewhat similar teenagers. They both wear shirts that show highly popular games, one being GTA and the other is Minecraft. Both wore shorts and classic sneakers. Once everyone was seated at the table, they gave me.
I take a deep breath, knowing that everyone is in place now. Josh's smile fades away, "Now that everyone is here. Floyd has something important to talk with us about." Instantly, everyone at the table brought their attention to me.
"Alright, thank you everyone for coming." I clear my throat before beginning to explain. "Alright, so to begin. Do you guys remember two months back when the Robanian aliens nearly invaded?"
"Yeah, that was pretty scary." Josh admitted, some of the others nodded. Though, Suzan rolled her eyes like she was uninterested.
"Well, today. I found out that one escaped the spaceship before it was destroyed. I was able to tie it up and take it back to my place. However, it told me something that got me very concerned for everybody's safety." The room all grew widened when they heard me say this. "It told me that the Grandmaster, their leader, will be coming to earth in two weeks from now. The signal will take three months to arrive at his spaceship."
Josh's expression instantly turned to worry. "Wait, really? So, they're coming back with vengeance?"
"Not just that. . ." I begin preparing myself to spill the beans. "He might be coming for me specifically." The room fell silent with surprise. "I broke their promise of getting destroyed along with everyone else here. It's likely they might want me dead for it." I pause for a second before continuing. "That's why, I'm leaving earth to search for him, and put an end to his army before he can hurt anybody else."
The entire room stared at me with expressions that felt like I was crazy. However, Josh eventually broke the silence. "Are you sure you'll be fine out there? You don't even know if they're your only enemy. There could be thousands out there that want the same thing as them."
"Possibly, but I doubt it. If the species I found on that spaceship weren't able to escape. Then, I believe that the Robanians might be the only villains." I examine everybody in the room closely. "Listen, the reason I came for your guys help. It's because I need you guys to look after everyone's safety. Keep a close eye on the skies in case I don't return. Do whatever you can to stop them."
"This is my home too, and if I lose it. I'll feel as though I failed everyone." The room fell silent, Josh and Drake gave each other looks. When they both nodded to each other,
"I think that's something we can do easily. We'll do our best, but we won't guarantee it'll be the most effective compared to you." Drake tells me with a smile appearing on his face. I nodded to him, smiling back to him in return. I take the sword in my hand and started to control the energy within it and entirely engulf it, glowing the sword with a bright light blue energy field.
Everybody had widened eyes, staring at the sword like they had never seen something like it before. Though, before I can move or say anything. Josh spoke up, "You promise you'll come back if they arrive though, right?" I nod in approval.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure of it." The energy around the sword vanishes, and I reach over to a pile of blank sheets of paper. I take one piece of paper and a pen in the side. I begin to write down Peter's phone number onto it. Then, I handed it over to Josh. "Here's Peter's phone number, he'll tell you where the stranded Robanian is so you can take him. Also as a way to ask if I came back or not."
Josh takes the sheet of paper, reading it before nodding back up to me. "Alright, thank you. We'll take care of the creature right after this." I nod in approval, before beginning to leave the room. The entire Teen Ten group watched me leave the house. None of them are sure what to say to me.
After closing the front door behind me, I walk toward the sidewalk. I grip the sword in my hand tightly, looking straight up to the sky. I felt the breeze brush past me, as I felt the energy engulf the sword and begin rushing through my veins. Eventually, I lifted up the sword into the air and let it guide me straight into the sky. I shot up into the sky, with the energy trailing behind me like a rocket engine blasting flames.
